Has anyone used or have any experience or reviews on Vacation Service Network out of Williamsburg,Virginia? They say they will rent your Diamond Resort points for .15 per point with no cost to owners?Seems to good to be true.I have 26,640 points which would be rental income of $3996,which would cover my maint. fees. Thanks for any input or guidance.Bob

Denise, The op didnt mention anything about an up front fee

Typically the points managers pay us for the use of our points

I dont think its the same company but Im familiar with a company from Williamsburg called Vacation Management services. They deal in Diamond points too and pay up to 17 cents

Vacation Service Network

And this outfit (Denise I think you know Cindy) also from Virginia

What I highlighted is usually the sign of something fishy. How did you come to hear of this company? Was it an unsolicited phone call? If so, that's usually another sign of a scam.

And as for this rental income of $3996, is that guaranteed? Is that before or after commission and taxes?

Hi Denise, The owner(Tania Prather) stated no up front fees nor any other fees, they pay you as your points are used by thier travel agency for thier clients.

Do they get exclusive control/use of you account and if you want to book for yourself, you have to contact them for the booking. That is typical of Wyndham points managers. Also it says they let you know 45 days before the end of the year how many points you have left. So unlike the Wyndham managers, this group seems to pay as they use the points and you may end up with unusable points at the end of the year for which you are not re-imbursed.

I was using Vacation Managment Services and was very happy with their services, but then I got a "cease and desist" letter from Diamond Resorts saying that using this type of service where they have access to my account is a violation of my agreement and if I didn't agree not to use them again I would lose my own ability to use my own points. Any other people with the same issue?

Ive used them as well, (for Wyndham points not Diamond) and have found them to be excellent to work with,

Just so everyone understands Vacation Management Services pays the owner of the Timeshare points, not the other way around.
