Never heard of Vacation Ownership Group, but...
They claim (via web site) to allegedly help timeshare owners "...solve a variety of timeshare problems".
A LLC, in business only since 2009. The phrase "upfront fee" immediately comes to mind. They supposedly have two office locations already; you are presumably citing their alleged Egg Harbor Township, NJ "office".
They claim another in Nashville, TN. Their web site includes pictures of office buildings with actual street addresses (but the offices have no local phone numbers; there is just one common "800" number for both "locations"). A third office is allegedly "opening soon" on Cape Cod; I'll believe that when I see it for myself.
If and when an actual "new Cape Cod office" opens with a legitimate, physical address, I will seek to arrange for a friendly visit by one or more of many good contacts I still have there in the law enforcement / investigative community at federal, state and local levels (I previously lived and worked on Cape Cod for a fair number of years).
If an "office" does open on Cape Cod, I may stop by there myself while visiting friends or family on the Cape, just to personally learn exactly what "timeshare problems" VOG might claim to be able to "solve" for me...
