Some interesting tidbits.

From the Owner Tips Weeks Owner section:

You may also go through Interval International to request a date at your home resort outside of the season you own. When you place an internal exchange request with Interval International, you’ll be required to pay a special internal exchange fee of $119 (when placing the request on IntervalWorld.com) or $129 (when placing the request at Marriott Vacation Club’s desk at Interval International

One never had to pay the extra $10 for a telephone exchange in the past, it was always the same, at that time $109, $99, $89. This must be new with the recent price increase.


In the Ask a Vacation Ownership Advisor section:

"What’s the difference between exchange Vacation Club Points and trust Vacation Club Points?" In a nutshell: Enrolled Owners use exchange Vacation Club Points, while Points Owners use trust Vacation Club Points. Both sets of Owners may use their respective Vacation Club Points to book stays at Marriott Vacation Club® resorts through the Marriott Vacation Club internal exchange system.

This is at least written acknowledgment that there are two different kinds of points.
