Can you easily use your RCI points in Europe if your RCI account is USA based ?

I am assuming yes , but thought I would asked others experience on this. ( I don't have a points account yet only weeks )

We are looking at hitting Germany up to visit friends and hit some Xmas markets

Yes. The limitations are not by RCI per se, but just know that timeshares in Europe are generally not where most Americans want to travel. They are mostly out in the countryside. Europeans LIVE in cities, so they don't want to vacation there. Not to say that these are not charming places, and if you do some research on the train systems, you can do some quality sightseeing there

A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
I think the other limitation is very few resorts in europe are rci points based. I believe that there is a priority period for rci Europe for timeshares deposited into rci europe. There are North american owners that own european timeshares which would have instant access without any hold back for european priority but the majority of european deposits (most of which are outside of city centers) would be leftovers even with an ongoing search.
