RCI told me if I want to be able to book Grand Pacific Weeks, I should deposit and search using my grand pacific week. I deposited one, and here are my trade test results. This is from a Sunday morning search and includes only the GPR coastal CA resorts:

Based on this availability... using a prime GPR week to trade with... I would say this is pretty good testimony to show that Grand Pacific owners have fully abandoned RCI.

Just curious why you wouldn't use GPX exchange

In the good old days (2011-2014ish maybe) I used to get 50 TPU's for my week 32 Seapointe. I could easily get 3 vacations out of this week. A few years ago it dropped into the mid 30's so I dropped my account. Why bother. Using GPX we can get good quality trades (and at this point it is one-for-one, but obtaining a trade is infinitely easier, there's no annual fee, and the exchange fees are lower. You can pick up low cost rental weeks too (currently $399).

Grand Pacific would be perfect if they had an affiliation with II.

I had two high point deposits. I could combine the points and double the value of my GPR deposit, allowing myself to book Grand Pacific weeks with both deposits and without a 4 in 1 rule.
