US Travel Requirements for Jamaica effective July 15, 2020

“Beginning July 15, all non-business travellers 12 years of age and over, from Arizona, Florida, New York and Texas in the USA will be required to upload a negative COVID-19 PCR test result from a College of American Pathologists (CAP) accredited medical laboratory. The date of the test must be within 10 days of the arrival date in order to obtain a Travel Authorization.

Jamaica has introduced measures to manage the risks associated with the Covid-19 pandemic. All travellers must obtain a Travel Authorization prior to departure and to adhere to safety protocols while in Jamaica. Everything you need to know about travelling to Jamaica can be found below...”

“The island of Jamaica first reopened its borders for tourism on June 15, and now the destination has put in place some revised measures for travelers.

Most notably, Jamaica is now requiring all travelers from what it deems “high-risk” areas, including Arizona, Florida, New York and Texas, need to upload proof of negative COVID-19 PCR tests taken no more than 10 days prior to arrival in Jamaica.

The results are required for visitors to receive a Travel Authorization certification.
