I renewed my global entry. I got the message about the backlog and that it was extended for a year. But then got a renewal notice within a week and no interview required.

I put in the application to renew my Global Entry a few days ago. Got notification last night that it was approved, no interview needed.

I put in and still have to do interview. I am getting offers to do it after June Iceland trip as I return to Dulles airport.

I just received my renewed passport in the mail yesterday. I mailed the application and the old passport off on Christmas Eve requesting the standard service, so it only took approximately 3 weeks in total.
