Unused banked points

Hi - we are from the UK and own 1 every other year (even years) Platinum week 2 bed lock off at Grande Vista and are enrolled for vacation points. Usually this serves us very well as we use the points to go to Florida for a week off season, usually around twice every three years.
We were due to go to Ocean Pointe for a week in March and were using 825 points we'd banked from 2020 and the remainder borrowed from 2022. We have had to cancel due to Covid, which we did outside of the 90 days so have had the borrowed points returned to 2022. However we now have the 825 banked points which expire at the end of 2021 and I really can't see us being able to use them this year due to travel restrictions and availability.
Am I correct in thinking I can't rent them as they have already been banked? Can I exchange them for Bonvoy points? For a number of reasons I can't see us getting away on a long haul holiday in 2021 and availability in Europe is sparse.
Any suggestions appreciated!

You can't transfer them to another owner, but you can offer to book something for someone with them, I am in Europe also so we can't avail of their insurance which is 800 points. I believe the deadline for Bonvoy is gone, you could try offer them on Vacation Point Exchange website, just mark them as legacy Banked Points, offering in the ad to book something for someone.

you can also cash them in for food, beverages or activities at resort rather than losing cash

How do you cash in DCP for food or beverage or activities at a resort?

If you can travel to a resort. That is the OPs problem. I think you need to have an active reservation to tie the resort credit to.
