Just thought I could ask
Traveling united airlines Saturday Oct 19. Two hour layover. If anyone has a lounge certificate they aren’t able to use, I would love to have a nice spot to waste the time.

If you can't get someone to give you a pass you can purchase a United lounge pass. I think they are $50. You can buy it ahead of time, or at the time you want to enter. Just be sure the lounge you want to go into is accepting the one time passes. Most of them will close to the one time passes if they get too full any only allow United lounge members access.

Yes, so not too smart to buy ahead, and not worth $50 to me.

I did not know you can sell them. We had a few that expired a few years ago.

I believe they are all electronic now in your account so not sure how that would work.

I'm not sure you can "sell" or give away the lounge passes you get as a credit card holder. You can give away the ones you receive by other methods, and get the passes by email. I was lucky enough to get two passes from a TUG member earlier this year. I don't remember how she got them. I don't have any passes in my United account right now, or I would look to see if there is some way to transfer them.

Interesting, I just found this:

One-time passes are non-refundable and can't be sold, traded, or bartered.

I know I have given away the email passes I've gotten in the past and as I said I got one from a TUG member earlier this year. In the email pass there is no indication of who they were issued to. You just print them and scan them along with your boarding pass when you enter the lounge.

The ones from the credit card are emailed as a PDF and can be printed.

Yeah, I just got home and have to look at eBay, but so many things can make me unable to use them. I have a layover going to Florida but just a few extra minutes flying from Florida and I only fly once a year each way. I don’t even check a bag so the credit card isn’t worth the cost.

I just looked on eBay. a few listings, asking 40 or 45$. One listing for a pass for two at $20 but if you win the bid, they will mail it,so it won’t do me any good. Liane, you might want to look
