Our of curiosity I was looking at flights from the San Francisco area to Maui in March 2021. The Alaska Airines itineraries were horrible. So I looked at United. If I wanted to book a flight it cost more for Economy than for First Class! Crazy.

Must be a COVID-19 glitch in their system. Booked the First Class seats and do not tell, United. LOL

I've run across a few pricing errors in my life, but typically, I resist the impulse to pull the trigger, thinking I need to be rational and check around. Then, by the time I decide the deal is for me, the price is back to where it should be and I end up kicking myself for waiting.

If need be use miles. You can land and continue on to David or do that on the return. But prices will drop till they are almost giving the seats away. Depends on competition.

I just checked again and realized the prices I was seeing were for Economy Flexible. Those were the ones that were more than First Class. The regular Economy was still much less.

FF were most cost effective, but I am not flying until February.
