I understand that all units are 3 bdrm, sleeps 8. I have a unit on hold for February, but there aren't many updated reviews. It will take about 61,000 pts for this week. Am I wasting my points on this place? The reviews are mixed on TUG, but more favorable on RCI. The week is during winter break when many of the schools are out. I was surprised to see this available. I think this place used to be the Embassy Suites just across from the Vistana.

Any advice?

Phase I has only 3BRs while Phase II has lockoffs. It was never Embassy Suites, while the franchise name Embassy Vacation Resort was used, the ownership/management was never Embassy. You'll be happy with it if you want to go to Orlando during your winter break.

Nice Timeshare.

Any advice?
I'd gladly take an exchange into Grand Beach (formerly Embassy Grand Beach).

We took the timeshare tour there 1 time (just for the freebies) & were favorably impressed -- strong Wow factor at the time.

Thanks so much for the quick responses. I was hesitant only due to the lack of updated reviews. I'm a somewhat frequent vacationer to Orlando. I own at Summer Bay and at one time Blue Tree Resort, so I'm familiar with the area. The area is very central to everything so I thought this would be a great location and unit for the size.

Am I using too many points for this place or is this normal? I'm a new points owner only one year. I'm sorry if this is the wrong board to ask this question.

We stayed there about 3 or 4 years ago, and liked it very much. It's an easy commute to Disney. I would definately return there unless it has gone downhill since our stay.

We are booked in for the week of February 28 to March 7. We are looking forward to staying there.

We've stayed there a couple of times and it's a perfectly acceptable resort. I'd go back again. The third bedroom is quite small as are the kitchen and living room. The two master suites are nice sized.
