Yes, I believe I have empty buckets. When I select point summary, it shows aligned years ( Jan. - Dec.) & unaligned years I don't use (April - March), these are what you refer to as " empty buckets "?
If it's showing a now non existent use year as the next use year that will block you from borrowing the coming use year that actually has the points.
Example: All the points now have a January 1 use year but the former use year on one of the contracts that was realigned is July 1. Even though it no longer exists nor has points for that use year if it's still showing the system will see it as your next available use year with no points available to borrow. To get this fixed Owner Care will have to assign a case number and put in a ticket with IT to get it removed so you're not blocked. It will happen again next year too if it doesn't get fixed. After two years I'm told it drops off on its own. Owner Care can make reservations for you in the meantime.
It took a couple of months to get our account fixed last year. You would think this would be automatically taken care of when they realign your use year. Clearly having our accounts function as they should isn't a priority with Wyndham.
