I have approx-24,000 Staroptions left over for 2011.....what should i do?
I am NOT able to "roll" them over to 2012....is there ANY chance I can make a reservation and sell the time? Can anyone else use them on short notice?

Any info would be great!

You would have to make a reservation IN 2011, and yes you can rent it.

My advice is that you make a Staroption reservation for a few days during New Year's week somewhere, and advertise it on the TUG Last Minute Rental Forum for $100 per night.

Orlando would be a good choice - but availability is going to be slim. Here are the Staroptions required for a 1 bdm. at Sheraton Vistana Resort or Villages:

Sunday - 6,600
Monday - 4,400
Tuesday - 4,400
Wednesday - 4,400
Thursday - 6,600
Friday - 8,800
Saturday - 8,800

You have enough Staroptions to reserve Mon, Tues., Wed., & Thurs. (19,800)

You are 200 short for Thurs., Fri., Sat. (24,200)

Also check to see if you can donate them to Make A Wish. I don't know if they expire the same for them?
