Good Day All,

I am an owner at Westgate Lakes that we purchased in 2002 there in the U.S. We are no longer traveling to the States as much of our family situation has changed, and we have desires for other -non timeshare- destinations outside of the States.
Since we have decided to holiday in many other places for the next few years, we find the timeshare has become an issue in our holiday planning because we are paying the resort for something we dont use. Westgate wont let me "Deed Back" the property as many of you suggested might be a slight chance of happening. So now I am left competing with what seems like hundreds of thousands of owners there in the States and the fellow citizens here who are trying to get out of the timeshare for FREE. I dont care about giving it away - we just cant find a new home for it.

I have read a ton of stickys and see that this question is all too frequent, so I hope mine is slightly different..... Can you advise if I have any other options with the laws of defaulting on the timeshare (i really loathe collection tele calls too) or any other resources I might have on this side of the bond that my fell U.S. tuggers dont have?

Cheers!
