I’m glad to hear the Peace Bridge has some traffic. I’m originally from Buffalo. On 9/11 I was at a meeting in a building on the Niagara River( I was an administrator for the Buffalo Schools). When we were notified that the first plane Had hit the World Trade Center we watched the border close down. The military was then on the Peace Bridge and it was closed. A sad day!In general - yes
There are a limited number of scheduled airline flights .
I did read a story of a couple who’s wedding had been postponed .
she lives in Chatham ON / He lived in Indiana .
in early May she booked a flight from Toronto.to USA . She was allowed to board the flight ; and they
got married in Indiana .. I believe she then returned to Canada a few days latter ,as she has a teenager at home.
Trucks continue to cross at land borders . We went for a drive yesterday and did Niagara parkway from Niagara on the Lake to past Fort Erie . As we drove under the Peace Bridge ( between Buffalo & Fort Erie ) all you saw on the bridge was 18 wheelers carrying goods both ways .
