Frontier Airlines keeps ramping up its Caribbean expansion, and now the low-cost carrier has debuted two prominent new routes to St Maarten.

Thanks for the news update. It does provide some additional flights to SXM, but with PJIA still suffering capacity limits due to post-Irma reconstruction delays, the last thing probably needed are more flights each day. The arrival and departure lines at the airport lately have apparently become quite lengthy, mostly due to the additional flights needed to handle the passengers on cruise ships using Philipsburg as their base port.

Unfortunately, it is also really only non-stop service for residents of Florida, or travellers who are already in central or southern Florida. Everyone else will still have to make a connecting flight first.
