I recently purchased a Blackberry Curve. I love it. I spend a lot of time on public transportation and I usually check out my favorite sites. Most of them have mobile sites, so it is pretty easy. TUG doesn't seem to have a mobile site, so I try to view the bbs on the Curve, but it is very odd/difficult to read through the threads.

Does anyone use a Blackberry tool that allows for easier reading of pages such as TUGbbs? I searched around for such a reader but didn't find anything that specifically says that it helps for bbs reading. Thanks for any input. BT

Blackberry, crackberry...I guess I know how you feel! ;)

My problem with tugging (if there is such a word) on Blackberry is among the same thread, some posts become very narrowly displayed so it takes a long time to scroll down. Other than that, I'm OK...

OMG - I thought my pal was the only one on earth that referred to over-use of my blackberry as a crackberry - she is not so original after all - YAY!!

I find it tough to see much TUG stuff on it as well...

I can get Tug on my BB, but you're right -- it's very hard to read. When I'm in a hot zone, I can get it on my I-touch -- and it's much easier to read (you can change the screen orientation to landscape/horizontal, plus it's a much bigger screen). I love my I-touch ... makes me want to get an I-phone so the internet will always work!

I have a blackberry curve and use mobile google to change a web site for BBerry /mobileview
TUG comes out pretty good

enter in your goto after getting on line
http://www.google.com/gwt/n
after getting it- save it as a bookmark for future use

then go back to above web address and the put in put in www.tugbbs.com
-after getting Tug site for mobile view save page as a bookmarks for easy access next time

Wow, GREAT tip. Can't wait to try this. I am oftne frustrated by internet on a blacknberry and limit it to checking for market updates when I am wa from the office. This may revolutionize m blackeberry surfing....

I tried it. the display is a lot better...Thank you! However, I could not find the "Today's Post" button any more. How do I get that back?

Thanks for the tip. It does seem to be somewhat better.

Thanks....I'm able to better view it from my Treo as well. It's still a bit confusing with all the links and formating...but better than before.

Isn't that going to kinda kill your data plan?

I have the unlimited data plan through Verizon, which is required when using a BES server for corporate email. So I'm good there. Unfortunately, the price of that is $49.99/month (I believe that's the highest of any carrier), but my company discount knocks that down to $32.99/month specifically for the data plan. I also get 20% off for the cell plan, which is good too.

Ouch! - I have to pay almost $120 a month to Rogers for a lousy 7MB plan with 250 minutes of air time.
