HI there,

I got a message regarding one of my WMH rentals from the TUG marketplace. I clicked on the message and read it but there is no button to reply to the message. Is it not a feature of the new marketplace to be able to reply to the message? Or am I missing something. I had to open up my gmail email account and cut and paste her email into it, which is kinda painful.

Just wondering... THanks!

Katherine

I did not see it either

I pasted the email address in my email address book and sent from there.

the system is not designed to let you reply directly to the member via the message center...only to provide you with the message and the members email address.

you can either click on the email address (to open up the default mail client your browser is configured for) or cut and paste the email into whatever email program you use.

yea...someone has obviously either figured out how to auto fill and submit that form...

or they REALLLLLY have alot of time on their hands to contact so many members about their ads.

LOL. No, not Martinez but I will keep you posted....
It WOULD be nice if we could email or PM people on TUG directly from that page though. Less work to reply that way. And you know me -- lazy bum.

Katherine

people that respond to messages may or may not be TUG members themselves....as viewing ads are open to the public.

YES another Martinez Sanchez

I thought it sounded like an odd e-mail and was hesitant to go forward.

THANKS to this board again:whoopie:

I feel left out...Martinez Schancez hasn't sent me an email. :(

But on the bright side, unscrupulous men tried to take my $11 million inheritance that I didn't even know was in a Nigerian Bank and the UN has stepped in! :D

I won another $49 million lottery the other day. I hate when this happens. This is about the tenth one this year. I'm getting so rich, I don't know what I'll do with all that money.

A very lucky bunch here...

I seem to win a lot of UK lotteries, for some reason. The fact that I have never set foot in the UK does not seem to have impeded my lucky streak. Those truckloads of money should be arriving at my door any day now.....

As far as the mythical but pervasive Martinez Sanchez goes, I find it somewhat amusing that he / she doesn't even have the sense to not use two last names for his / her phony identity.

wonder if we should start a "cut/paste your scam email" here thread

Brian-

Just a suggestion..

Many of the marketing sites place limits on the number of ads that an IP address can contact in a day.. If they go over that limit- their inquiries are captured for admin review.. If it looks fishy- admin then simply sends notice to the advertisers already contacted to be careful, and blocks the IP address for the future....

Not sure if you are set up to do this (well- I know you can block an IP address and ban a user- but the rest of it I'm unsure of....)

Give them time - I have heard from them also.
and it is nice to know the UN is helping you out too!!
