TUCSON Int'l Airport- Car Rental Info

I am planning a trip to Tucson, AZ. Looking at the TUS Airport terminal map I can see that most major rental companies have their counter in the terminal. I am just wondering where are the rental cars? Do you just WALK outside the terminal to the car rental lot or you still have to take a SHUTTLE to a nearby lot?

several of The Major rental companies have the rental cars on site.
Alamo lot however is off-site and requires a shuttle.

Do you know how their pricing is compared to Phoenix? We are going to Tucson in March of 2007. I know flights would be cheaper to Phoenix from where we flight from, but wasn't sure on rental cars.

Thanks Jeff, I was looking at Dollar, at around $175 with tax for a week for a midsize. Dollar and Thrifty are about $100 cheaper than all the other rental companies . riverdees05 I think phoenix is more expensive because of the "stadium" tax on car rentals.
