LIGHTHOUSE INN RESORT (#6198), New London, CT, is about an hour from Providence, but I've never seen it available.
WATER'S EDGE RESORT AND SPA (#1331), in Westbrook, CT often does have availability. It's about 90 minutes west of Providence on I-95.
Various Cape Cod properties are 90+ minutes east of Providence.
