We are wondering if it’s even possible to get five days at Koolina February 19-24? We did the Marriott calculation and it said we needed 2550 points . What is the going rate to buy points? Is it even worth buying the points and putting a request in ? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see any point availability for those dates, actually i only see a studio available on Feb 12th and 13th.

Just to be clear- you want to make a reservation with Abound points?
But you don’t have enough points?
So you would have to rent the points and then waitlist?
And you are looking Feb. 2025?

That is 100 percent correct. We have a Disney cruise that leaves on the 24 February.

That’s what we were thinking 🤔 if nothing is available is it likely something will pop up?

It's possible that you may have to piece together individual days as they become available. You would have to constantly check. Also try the waiting list.

Would you be able to use the rented points if the stay didn’t come through?
Have you tried just booking the nights on Marriott dot com using your ownership level discount code?

I hate to hop in, but I need to piece together an extra night at Ko'Olina December 27-28 and I'm wondering if it's worth renting points and checking constantly? Just need a studio but I have no idea the likelihood of success, and I have no other need for the points... I'm guessing I'm probably better off just sucking it up and relocating to Waikiki for that night?

Ain't going to be easy IMHO. I have been looking and not even one night has shown on the MVC site. Now you might have a better chance with an OGS but I don't know for sure.

There is availability to rent on Marriott.com and you can use your owner's discount.

Make sure you eat at Longboards. Great views and the food there has really improved! We eat there all the time as we're lucky enough to live nearby,
