So I tried to make a Reservation tonight for a Studio at KoOlina for August of next year. I am Chariman's Level but all of my points are through Legacy Week Exchange.

And I just got this for the first time...:

So apparently Marriott IS NOW implementing Trust/Exchange Destination point separation for reservations at some locations and times..
Not sure if this is a fluke or something that will become more widespread.. But it is the first time I have seen it.

OK SO UPDATE.. Turns out it was actually a Website issue, I logged out and tried again and the reservation went through.. Weird...

Makes sense. It says points are needed from trust or exchange. Your elected points are considered exchange points.
