I purchased some wyndam points that are based on an El cid membership. It has taken months to get it transferred but in November got a letter from Wyndam with contract & member number. I have been trying i vain to get the on line account set up but it will not let me register. I have called Wyndam numerous times - no one can figure out why. They said try emailing. I tried emailing, they said try calling

They have no problem sending me a bill but can't get me access. Anyone else ever have this problem and if so did you ever get it resolved?

Hello,

Initially, I was unable to set up my online Wyndham account, and as with you Wyndham was no help over the phone. I eventually figured out on my own that there were a couple of leading zeroes in the contract number (they were not written on the sheet of my contract I was initially looking at), which needed to be there for the online registration.

I have no idea if this applies to you, but I figured I'd post it just in case....

Been through the zeros thing with the reps and that didnt fix the problem. I got an email today that said it is because they do not have my SSN. Waiting to get a phone number to call in - I don't trust sending a fax which is what they want me to do.
