When you book the miles and hotel package with rewards do you have to pick the hotel there and then or can you pick it later

They can be booked separately. The hotel package is good for one year and can be extended another year, and it has been reported on Tug a third year.

You can also upgrade the travel package for the point difference. So if you get the package as Category 6 and later decide to Category 8, you can call and upgrade it.

You can also upgrade the travel package for the point difference. So if you get the package as Category 6 and later decide to Category 8, you can call and upgrade it.

You can also downgrade it and get a refund of the points difference. I almost never book the hotel at the time I order a travel package.
