Has anyone flew into Niagara International airport and taken transportation to Ontario, Canada? specifically Barrie, Ontario. Any info or tips would be helpful.
Wow, you're going to Barrie from Buffalo, NY? That's a very long way in a taxi or shuttle. When we stayed in Barrie, we flew to Pearson International Airport (Toronto) which was only 1 hour away from Barrie. We rented a car and drove to our resort.
You're looking at a trip around 3 hours. That's not including the border wait time. (My stay was completely in Canada, so I have no idea what the wait time is through NY.) Perhaps you should rent a car? If you need to take public transportation, below is a link for ground transport at the Buffalo airport.
thanks for the input. My family are leaving before we are (car is niagara airport) so i was just wondering if it was cheaper to fly direct air and bus it home. Looks like it will cost abit more and more hassles.....just looking at all options.
