We have a timeshare at Eagle's Nest in Marco Island. The TS deed is in my husband's name and we want to transfer it to his Living Trust. Does anyone know a good, honest lawyer on the island or in SW Florida that could handle this easy transaction? Thank you for your assistance/suggestions!

Frankly, you don't need a lawyer at all for this. Any competent closer (e.g. JRA Services, LT Transfers) can do this for you (although they will likely request and require pertinent pages from the trust instrument to be provided to them in order to verify the trust's existence and to ensure that real estate is specifically referenced therein). They would likley need the first page or two, the last (signature) pages and whatever page(s) specifically address real estate.

It's your call, but I personally wouldn't bother with the additional time, effort and expense of hiring an attorney (in FL or elsewhere) for this relatively simple and straightforward matter. JMnsHO.

Agree. All too often the knee jerk reaction of many is "Hire a lawyer". So often it is unnecessary and very costly.
