Is a lawyer needed to transfer title on a deeded timeshare or is it just a matter of updating the deed to the new owner and filing it with the local registry of deeds? For example do the timeshare articles of incorporation need to be included or any other similar docs?

Your best bet is to go onto the Legal Title Transfer website. Website below:

www.LTTransfers.com

Their website is a wealth of information. And, if you want them to do it for you they will for around $250 or so. They can give you an exact quote.

Best of luck and welcome to TUG.
