After we purchased our Timeshare in So Carolina, we filed a quit claim deed in Beaufort County to transfer it to our Family Trust. The document was recorded and the transfer was completed. This was in 2013. The quit claim deed was apparently not forwarded to the resort. We have since divorced and he has passed away. My name was removed from the trust after our divorce and a new trustee has been named in my place. Can I just forward copies of the documents to the resort ? They are billing me for MF but the timeshare is under the control of my ex stepson.

I would do it as a start. Perhaps they would stop billing you and bill the estate without you getting a lawyer involved

See my reply in your other thread. After you have the recorded docs in hand, contact the resort and talk to them, explaining the situation. Just forwarding things now won't do more than delay resolution to your situation. They may already have the docs on file, but haven't processed them, for some reason.

BTW: You don't need to have two threads going with the same question. You'll find excellent answers in the other thread.
