Transfer fee vs initiation fee

Hi all - I am looking at ebay resale MVC points and, for example, for 4250 points, it states that there is a resort transfer fee of $13,145, which includes the $12,750 transfer fee, the $95 ROFR fee, and a $300 education fee. Comes out to a little over $3 per point.
But I watched a youtube video about MVC points and the guy talks about an initiation fee which comes out to about $3 per point.

Are the resort transfer fee and the initiation fee the same?

Thanks

Yes, it's referring to the same fee, and we also call them the "junk fees". :) But don't forget that to pass ROFR, the price per point needs to be close to $4 per point, so it comes out to about $7 per point.

That guy in the YouTube videos is pretty smart. I know him well. He is just going by the official documentation. MVC refers to this as an "initiation fee" in the MVC Exchange procedures. They are actually separate from the transfer fee as I understand there is also a $25 transfer fee for each deed containing Beneficial Interests being transferred. But I could be wrong on that.
