Hi All,

I bought a week at Playa Andaluza - the contract was sent to Marriott in January and it still pending transfer. I've reached out to 'owners modifications', but so far haven't gotten very far. From my understanding, transfers at Playa Andaluza are quicker than deed transfers, so I'm surprised it's taken this long. Just wondering if anyone has a direct contact with someone higher up that could potentially look into this and the delay?

Playa is RTU so its membership not a deed, so is very straightforward. Contact Owner services at Cork to follow up and/or customer.advocacy@mvwc.com

It took Marriott almost 6 months to complete my last Phuket Beach Club transaction with no delays in receiving buyer / seller information / signatures.

They normally do resale transfers in the order received. As of about a week and a half ago they were on Jan 27 and quoting 90 business days to complete transfers.

The closing agent said they sent the packet to Marriott on 1/21. I just assumed RTU would be processed in a different 'line' and would be faster than a standard deed transfer.
