Trading w/ 2BR OV Gold Surf Club

Can anyone recommend good weeks for trading? This will be our first attempt. I want 2 weeks so I was thinking about maybe just reserving the 1 BR in the 1st available gold week and the lockoff for the 2nd. Opinions? Maybe we would be better off going for Memorial Day and Thanksgiving?
