I have a deposit in Trading Places made before Capital Vacations took over. I just did an online search and there was no availability anywhere in the next 8 months, which is how long the deposit is still good for. Has anyone gotten an exchange recently through this company? They seem to have zero availability in any country.

Trading Places no inventory?

Yes, did an exchange on Dec 11, plenty of inventory.
What you are seeing now (and I'm seeing it too) is a website issue rather than an inventory problem.

I have found much less availability this year than previous years. I could always get one or 2 colorado or utah ski weeks and this year have gotten no exchange. Have also used them for Hawaii and again nothing.
Website is down again ... sigh ... IT not a core competency for CV?

There were always many WY weeks available at Trading Places several years ago. What has happened to these WY timeshares after Capital Vacation took over?

Agreed, there does seem to be less inventory. Bonus weeks are even worse, only deep off-season weeks available.
Jackson Pines is no longer a timeshares. Jackson Hole Town Center and Jackson Hole Vacation Condos used ot have lots of availablity. I stayed at Jackson Hole Towncenter 2 years ago and it was an easy exchange. Have gotten exchanges into BLue Whale in Oceanside, Eagle Crest Oregon, and every winter 1 or 2 ski weeks in Utah. I used to even be able to get ski bonus weeks.

TPI inventory has really shrunk since Cap. Vacations bought them out. Very sad. I'm assuming that much of the inventory is being rented out. I sold all my "traders" and glad I did.
