Trading for Marbella

After reading so many wonderful reports on Marbella we are finally ready to try to trade in. I want to exchange my 2010 Aruba Surf Platinum for any 2010 week between July 1 and Aug 30th. Since I can reserve my week in a few days, do you think it really makes a difference if I grab the first available week in January to get my trade request in as early as possible, or wait for a better week, maybe in February?

Yes, better to wait until early March and reserve a 'better' week. JMHO
On the other hand, friends traded a Gold Surf Club 2BR into Marbella 2BR for the third week of July, 2009.
They put there request in July 2008 and were confirmed middle of August 2008. They had requested anything in July.

You have plenty of time to make your request - 13 months out is fine.
