I have recently been able to confirm two Disney weeks through an RCI exchange, BUT... family prefers to go elsewhere. Now I have two weeks that no one wants to use. Am I able to exchange this week with another individual and use the RCI Guest Certificate? If so, where do I look to find someone willing to exchange with me?

Hi RCI does not permit you to rent or trade exchanges, but sometimes it's done quietly between friends. It's not a good idea to advertise it.

I'm going to send you a private message.

Best advice is to check with the family next time BEFORE you confirm an exchange. Did you by any chance buy the vacation insurance?

Simplest thing might be to cancel and start over.

I agree with Sheila--try to cancel and start over. If you reserved within the past 30 days, and your travel date is more than 14 days out, you should be able to buy RCI's "travel protection plan." Then, you can cancel your reservations, get back the weeks (or TPUs, or whatever) that you traded, and get a credit for your exchange fees (assuming you used RCI Weeks), which can be used to book two other weeks within the next six months. You will be out the cost of the travel protection plan, but will otherwise get everything back.
