I think as an area in general it does have value. The highest value is going to be those with direct easy access to the slopes during ski season and those with good lake access during the summer season. I know the Marriott's and Hyatt's there would have a strong trade value in both summer and winter. During Spring and Fall the desirability will be less for all the resorts.
I am not familiar with the Ridge but I can see loads of availability in II in studios, and 1 bedrooms and even a few 2 bedrooms during both summer and winter so I wouldn't think it would be the best trader but it might be fair to good.
