Trade in or SO???

We want to go to Maui or Kauai off years when we are not going to BI. Our children are young so being right on the beach isn’t a focus of ours. My question is: use SO or trade in via II? Off season is perfect for us at this point.

If beach is not important, suggest WPORV (during warmer seasons) using II as it is a more likely exchange than WKORV/N/NN.
(or so I hear)

As to SOs - easier exchange for all - but dependent on what those SOs cost you and what else they can be used for. Also, if location within Resort is important - then SOs.
II can tend to the dregs location wise.
