Hey everyone,

Thought I'd post this for anyone that was interested. I got tired of continually launching calc and doing a bunch of computation when I was looking at point auctions on eBay, so I quickly wrote some code that would do it for me. :)

http://www.eternaltides.com/tscalc/default.aspx

Feel free to use it and/or pass it along to anyone you think may want to use it.

DISCLAIMER: I don't make anything off of this, simply providing a tool I created for myself to the TUG community.

Thanks,
Nico

Quick and easy to use but am I the only one that noticed the calculations are wrong?? 10000 points at 1000 MF is $100 per point?

Edited - my bad, I see that the calculated amount states it is price PER 1,000.

I know it can be done easily on a calculator but as long as this tool is available, wouldn't a price per point be more useful of a figure than price per thousand?

Sorry, I just saw this as we've been without power where I live for 5 days.

I've updated it for the requests. It will now give you:

Price per 1k points
Points per dollar
Price per point

*edit*, it rounds up or down to the 2nd decimal point based on standard math rules. :)

I agree, I think this should be a sticky...maybe under the buying, selling, renting forum? Might be good to add a guideline as to what a "good deal" (or target range) might be, based on input from Tuggers.

(Of course, I don't own points, so I have no vested interest, but this tool would help me in case I ever want to get into that game....)
