Just got a [timeshare] via resale. I have yet to book the week for 2009.

I understand you want to book/bank these as early as possible. Am I not going to get a good trading power since it's so close to 2009. Better to rent? We probably don't want to use it at GP. Any other options?

Welcome to TUG! :hi: It's certainly not too late to deposit a 2009 week - go for it!

To some extent the answer depends on what you have and where. If you have a float week that will trade well next fall then you are certainly not too late to book the week and bank it with a Trading company. If it is a fixed January week, then you may be better off trying to rent it.
