Too late to rent T-Day week, should I bank?

Lack of organization on my part and now I am double booked for Kauai on Thanksgiving week.
Can I have a real chance of renting last minute or should I give to HTSE. They are playing tag with me on the phone but I am worried that it will be wasted soon. Is renting last minute realistic or should I cut my losses and bank?

Wife says bank it, eliminate the risk, so it is.

If it was not Hawaii I would say you have a chance of renting it as Craig Listers are late renters. However, Hawaii - banking it is better. Funtime
