I bought a timeshare for the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort and it’s been over 5 weeks since we closed. Our title transfer through Vistana still has not gone through. Does anyone know how long it takes.?

Did the closing agent send all the paperwork off to Vistana? Vistana is known for not being very fast to complete the transfer in their system. Now with COVID and layoffs and reduced staff, I am sure they are even slower.

I have one that is taking 6 weeks so far, I was told that it is taking at least 45 days for vistana to process it.

I forget if I was told 30 or 45 business days. At that time and maybe still they are only working monday-thursday...

However it also got processed fairly quickly after my email to title services...so maybe a friendly email asking for a status can't hurt.
