Does anyone think it's worth an extra $600 for title insurance for purchasing a resale week?

How much are you paying for the week? If you are buying it for $600, then what is the point of spending another $600?

If the cost is more than you would care to lose, then get title insurance. I have purchased the title insurance 4 or 5 times, but never paid more than $350. $600 is a lot!

Policies only cover up to your purchase price so you need to weigh the risk vs. what it would pay you if there was in an issue.

Thanks everyone! I saw quoted $600 for timeshare around $10k. Problem is this is the rate for houses. $600 in title insurance should be enough to buy a $200k or so house!!
