Hello

Not much to go on? Do you mean in the resort? Or in Carlsbad area?

http://www.accuweather.com/us/ca/ca...tner=accuweather&traveler=0&zipChg=1&metric=0 Weather turns cool part way thru the trip.

Check with hotel - they have some kid's activities available. TS side has activities like low cost tennis & golf lessons. You see the Indian teepee (sp?) part way down the hill - but not sure if used? Ask

Outside of resort - walk along lagoon, take train ride into San Diego for day at zoo or shopping (get train in downtown Carlsbad), legoland (never been ) --- look up trip advisor and search.

Resort is kind of quiet for kid's - they have 3 pools ( there is a 'quiet' pool in Hotel (no kids) -- but no 'lazy rivers' or water slides ( if you know what I mean)

Thanks, all. Just got back and it was a great trip.
We did the teepee (thanks for the rec) and also the Kid's Club.
They have a lot of Christmas trees set up in the lobby along with a huge gingerbread house covered in frosting with a train running around it that was really cool.
Loved the free PS2 game rentals and also movie rentals ... much appreciated.
Did the pool a few times but it was a bit cool.
They also had hot chocolate and hot apple cider in the lobby.
Hubby and I took advantage of spa -- you can use the spa facilities in hotel even if you don't have a treatment. So we enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, quiet room and showers all free of charge. Love it!

Very beautiful resort. We got a restaurant.com certificate for Dini's by the Sea which was a nice restaurant fairly near the resort.

We also went to Legoland.

All in all, a great trip! Thanks, all!

It is hard to describe the Hotel spa --isn't it .... the ambiance of it all -- way over the top!!

Assuming you both the pink and green soap in the showers .... which one did you like better ( in the showers at the two TS steam rooms --only have pink )

When you have these kind of questions --I guess you know you are pretty happy campers ...

LOL, Greg! I chose the Tropical Tea lotions (green) ... the other was grapefruit. Ah, decisions, decisions!

Also forgot to mention took advantage of the FREE SHOESHINE, a little-known perk.

Love Four Seasons!
