I've looked on TUG and elsewhere, but can't seem to find any mention of them.
I bought a Hawaii week on e-Bay from them a few days ago.

Timeshareshack / Capital Resort Transfers
- Listed on e-Bay as "whslers970".
- Affiliated with Quantum Travel of Pagosa Springs, CO (owner Bill Kinsley)

They don't seem to be high volume at all. What should I be specifically concerned with regarding the transfer for a property in Hawaii with them?

Thanks!
Diane

One is the relationship between the seller and the closing company. Sometimes, the former even owns the latter. You want a genuine third party holding escrow to be safe.

Another is who is preparing the deed. Hawaii requires the deed to be prepared by an attorney licensed in Hawaii and many of these ''deed mill'' closing companies do not do that. Ask who the deed will show as its preparer, and then check that name with the Hawaii State Bar to see if they are licensed to practice law in Hawaii.

Thanks!

That just the sort of advice I was looking for - it's much appreciated!
