Are there decent timeshares you would recommend in SunRiver to buy or trade into? TIA

Not Sunriver but not that far-away are Worldmark/Wyndham Seventh Mountain (just a few miles West of Bend on Hwy to Mt Bachelor) and EagleCrest (between Sisters and Redmond).

I like Sunriver better than either Eagle Crest or the Seventh Mtn area.
In Sunriver, I've stayed at 2 of the 3 timeshare options:
Vacation Internationale has The Pines which trades in II (used to be RCI so don't know if they still deposit there or not). These are next to the main lodge and near a very scenic section of the bike trails. They provide 2 bikes with each unit. This is my favorite and is why I bought into VI. VI is an owner run system that is well managed. The units are in 2 story buildings and a mix of 1 and 2 BR units, some loft units and most involve stairs of varying amounts.
Stoneridge is a fractional complex with large 2 or 3 BR units. The 3rd BR is a studio near the front entrance to the unit so is easy to lock off. The 2 BR are huge with high vault ceilings; very comfortable. However, it is located near the main entrance and there is road noise plus the trains. It's closer to the grocery store/village area but set back aways from the nicest section of the bike trails near the main lodge and river/airport. I was able to trade in here in the fall; late Sept several times for excellent hiking options.
The 3rd one is one I haven't stayed at. The Ridge at Sunriver is also not too far from the grocery store/village area and also closer to the railroad tracks. They are 2 story buildings and trade through RCI.
The railroad tracks run along the east side of Sunriver and can be an issue. I rented one place years ago where it sounded like the train was coming right through the house.

We like Vacation Internationale's The Pines at Sunriver. Golfing, fishing and biking to Sun River Village are what we enjoy. There are some VI members that do reserve units for others for cost. VI has a no profiting clause or something like this in place regarding renting out units. That being said, summer reserves out moderately fast.
