In my constant search to find a way to sell my timeshare, I came across this company that buys timeshares. It is called Timesharerelief.com. It's posting sounds good, does anyone have any info on them?

I don't think you have their business model right. They don't "buy" timeshares. I believe that you pay for the privilege of having them dump it on eBay for you and they keep the proceeds while you pay them $3000 for that privilege.

You may save yourself $3000 by posting on the TUG clasifieds area where you can give away your timeshare for free.

You can dump your timeshare on eBay, too. Just offer it for $1 plus closing plus maitenance fee reimbursement for this year's fees.

Do a search for Timeshare Relief. There are a few very long threads on this topic.

As BB pointed out, they don't buy timeshares. You pay them, and then they agree to take your timeshare. Oh, and you can't owe anything on the timeshare, and you can't be in arrears on the annual fees, either.

Yes, Timeshare Relief "offers" to buy timeshares. That's what their postcards say. But as Steve states, when it comes down to meeting with them and actually doing a deal, you have to pay them - several thousand bucks - to get rid of your timeshare.

For more on this company, read this extensive thread. Note that we believe that the very few people that discussed Timeshare Relief positively in the thread are shills for the company.

TS Relief Clones

TSRelief and their clones are alive and well. I just got my postcard today informing me that their reps will be in town and are anxious to talk to me.

Thank you

Thank you for the explanation, I thought it was to good to be true. Glad I'm a tug member and can get answers before getting into more trouble. Thanks again.
