Both Timeshares and Airbnb can provide great vacations. I have used both but have tended to focus more on Timeshares. For me, making a purchase of a timeshare was making a commitment to taking a vacation. I am very active in a lot of projects, so making a timeshare a project was my way of keeping me from becoming a workaholic... We all have to know our weaknesses.

In this video, I will highlight what I find make timeshares appealing to me over the use of Airbnb. I am a creature of habit, so I like the consistency of timeshares... And the main drawback of not as many locations can be offset by the timeshare exchanges and the hotel chains associated with each timeshare. And we are now seeing timeshare companies start to offer Airbnb like properties. The industry will leverage the good from upstarts like Airbnb.
