A very relaxing walk starting the entrance of the trail. This is a 1.4 mile walk along an almost flat trail. It is an out and back distance of 2.8 miles. I enjoyed this walk as I was able to walk along the shoreline and see the lake but also walk along the tress that are native to the area.

The reason I took this walk was because I wanted to learn about the area outside of the tourist parts of Branson. I enjoyed the big leaf trees as I spent a lot of my life in the Western US. I grew up in the midwest, so I enjoyed walking through the trees. I also enjoyed watching all the people on the lake in their boats skiing and pulling tubes around the lake. The lake was not too crowded, so Branson seemed like more than an entertainment destination. There are other hikes that I will want to try. Enjoy the views from this simple hike.
