Education about Timeshares should occur before you ever buy a timeshare. You could decide after careful evaluation that Timeshares are for you and that would be a great outcome... FYI, I would say the same thing about RV's if you are considering an RV purchase. Education can take many forms. I recommend doing trial packages that have no long term payments... And I recommend you do it with multiple companies.
If you decide to buy, you education is not complete... You will want to learn all the booking rules, how quickly different resorts fill up, when are the offseason, etc... The better educated timeshare owners save money by knowing the rules. And my last topic is to continue your education to keep abreast of the new features that get added over time. Enjoy!
