The two biggest complaints I hear are 1) The Timeshare salesperson lied to me and 2) I can't use my points. In today's video, we will discuss the second complaint which is how to rent out your timeshare. I am in luck to have Jeff as my guest as he has renting timeshares for over a decade.

I'll also describe a little of the details if you don't want to go to the lengths Jeff has gone. I am a bit of a beginner and I have chosen to have a service do my renting. I am sure you have heard the claims from the timeshare salespersons on how much money you can make... For Jeff and I, the returns are more about covering your maintenance fees and maybe making 20% above that. It is not about making money, but having flexibility to rent when you can't use all your points. The goal of owning timeshares is to use them.
