I've always tracked my Return on Investment in Timeshares. Over the years I've gotten better at it as I have learned how to purchase more effectively. In this video, I show how you can calculate your ROI and also some general rules. Like lowest maintenance on deeds in Las Vegas, but using your Points in Hawaii.

The reason this works is room rentals in Hawaii are expensive. But timeshare Points are often the same in Hawaii as they are in Las Vegas. Perhaps I am so positive about timeshares as I have always vacationed as much as possible in Hawaii (5 months in 2022). But I have owed my timeshare now longer than the ROI period (I've owned since 2007). So, I am in the savings period of my timeshare ownership. Even my recent purchases are entering their saving periods soon so overall I am saving money.
